Profile

Configure and maintain application and systems configurations for J2EE applications on Linux Red Hat servers. Responsible for supporting new and existing applications on Red Hat Apache and JBOSS servers in DEV, UAT and Production environments.
Must Have Requirements
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Jboss Application Server with installation and performance tuning.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Apache webserver Server with installation and performance tuning.
• Experience in monitoring servers, applications and websites using tools such as Wily Introscope
• Very good working knowledge of Unix or Linux.
• Experience with Shell scripting to automate tasks.
• Strong knowledge of Jboss deployment and analysis of log files.
• Perform controlled deployments of digital assets between development, quality assurance and production environments.
• Perform activities in support of a 24x7 global support model for all environments.
Nice to have Requirements
• Good understanding of J2EE technologies, e.g., Servlets, JSPS, EJBS, Webservices,JMS, JDBC, JNDI,. including how they are configured and administered.
• Participate in the design, engineering, configuration, operation and maintenance of secure and scalable internet/intranet hardware and software infrastructure that serves up web pages and web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting the internet/intranet hardware and software infrastructure.
• Implement disaster planning/mitigation/recovery.
• Evaluate product proof of concepts.
• Understanding of DNS, TCO/IP, load balancing and network concepts
