NAM HSE Manager
Title: NAM HSE Manager

Provide support to facility management teams for implementation and maintenance of the ReedHycalog HSE MGMT System.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Work with identified groups and other business functions on HSE strategic activities and disseminate organization wide HSE strategies and HSE improvement program
Liaise with corporate NOV Corporate HSE group to implement corporate program and initiatives throughout ReedHycalog business unit
Maintain contacts with Global HSE team activities, providing input and direction as applicable, e.g. procedure development, training program, global HSE objectives and targets
Maintain regular contact with HSE (in)direct reports, motivating and evaluating performance and collating employee development program and initiatives
Facilitate and lead HSE team process improvement initiatives and continually review HSE system to identify system improvements, enhancing HSE efficiencies
Work with other business functions to drive for efficiencies in HSE reporting systems, identify potential for risk based management and automation improvements and on real time HSE data capture
Provide guidance and direction in HSE compliance issue resolution, corrective action plan management, sharing best practices
Participation in company internal HSE audit program
Perform facility inspections, assessments to verify HSE management system compliance
Assist in the completion of HSE elements within operational tenders and contracts process
Liaise with customers, contractors and regulatory bodies on HSE issues
Promote Management of Change process to formally manage significant change issues within facilities and global HSE management system
Develop staff competencies in policies / procedures, risk assessment, project management and communication
Participate and lead incident investigations, as applicable
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Bachelor's Degree in HSE field preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of HSE experience required.
Must have a working knowledge of US and Canadian HSE related regulations and industry standards (NFPA, ASME, ANSI, etc.) applicable to the energy industry.
Excellent oral and presentation skills required.
Good analysis and reporting skills required.
Strong organizational skills required.
Travel requirement 25-50%
Certified Safety or Environmental Professional preferred.
Strong knowledge of BBS principles, HSE Risk MGMT and loss prevention methods.
Knowledge and experience with ISO 14001, 45001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
