General Responsibilities:
Manage assigned show, or assigned area on show to ensure direct costs are at or below plan. Proactively develop fully Integrated Implementation plans for assigned show portfolio to ensure planned labor and show margins are met or exceeded. Ensure proper billing practices and proper documentation of materials, labor, and rental equipment is preformed to ensure accurate invoicing, for the purpose of capturing all revenue.
Achieve assigned percentages and recommendations on client surveys and quality service tracking goals on assigned shows. Provide leadership of the assigned operational show team in the JUMP process for the purpose of developing Productivity Improvement Plans, Service Plans, and the clear documentation of process improvement opportunities to be reviewed in Post Show Meetings. Implements GES SOP, Lean and Best Practices, and pro actively develop, test and share process improvements. Ensure complete and accurate documentation of grievances and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with OHSA, DOT and Safety Requirements. Ensure damage and loss reports are documented in adherence with company practices. Coordinate activities with vendors and facilities. Coordinate activities with the house and logistics carriers. Review and approve all labor calls and staffing plans on assigned shows to ensure they are fact based and in alignment with the Implementation Plan, the show budget, and service requirements. Obtain and disseminate labor-tracking reports to operational team. Make on-site plan adjustments to ensure show margins are achieved. Manage the labor and productivity tracking and reporting process. Assist in show labor analysis. Manage all operations involving Union personnel within the guidelines and spirit of the current contract.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
Three (3) to seven (7) years in an operational environment, experience which was inclusive of management/supervisory functions
Ability to interpret and manage union contracts including issuance of discipline
Ability to lead different crews simultaneously in different locations
Must be available to work nights, weekends and at show site.
Ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities
Travel is required to work in other GES facilities throughout the US as needed
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
General accounting and finance knowledge with the ability to manage shows to budget.
Leadership skills and business acumen.
Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Must be able to work nights, weekends and travel as required
Self-starter able to work independently
College degree preferred
Freight operational specific experience including management of marshalling yard and material handling both advanced and show site related

Will be required to performs work on the tradeshow floor, in noisy and crowded areas as well as office setting
Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
Requires working with union and non-union employees
