Part-time Faculty - Law and Ethics
The candidate will instruct a curriculum which is centrally developed with specific learning objectives. Will provide timely and detailed feedback on a weekly basis and offer student support via classroom, phone, and email. Utilize classroom learning system technology (provided by university), the Internet, and MS Office software. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent. Examine and apply legal and ethical issues within the context of an educational setting. Should have Master's degree or higher in an educational field OR Master's degree or higher and 18 graduate level credits with a focus in Education OR a J.D. degree. Must have minimum of nine applicable credits and 5+ years of experience within the past 10 years with a focus in education and 3+ years of experience with school policy, law/legal, and/or ethical issues. Should have current P-12 certification in one or more of the following: Education Administration, Principal, Assistant Principal, Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or current member of the Bar with a specialization in Educational Law.
