PeopleSoft HRMS Technical Project Lead

North Carolina State University OIT currently has an exciting opportunity for a PeopleSoft Technical Project Lead and Senior Developer to enhance and support its PeopleSoft HRMS System. The position requires no travel and is located in Raleigh, NC, recently ranked as America's Best City by Businessweek
. Use your expertise in PeopleSoft development tools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, Workflow, SQR, etc.) to lead projects to develop bolt-on applications and customizations for NC State's HR System. In addition to acting as a Senior Developer, the Project Lead will assist in planning projects and will mentor more junior team members in PeopleTools best practices. This position also takes a lead role in production support by analyzing, programming and testing solutions to complex production problems, and works to retrofit customizations for Upgrades and Maintenance.
Successful candidates will possess:
1) More than 5 years of experience developing enhancements and bolt-on applications that demonstrates expertise in PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, Workflow, SQL, etc,)
2) Demonstrated capability to lead and plan development projects, coordinate with other units within OIT, and mentor other team members.
3) A strong understanding of standard development methodologies (Systems Development Life-cycle)
3) Proven skills in testing to assure quality of programming and development (unit, integration, and system testing)
4) A thorough knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS data structures
5) Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting and debugging skills.
6) Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in PeopleSoft HRMS (or HCM) 9.0 or greater.
7) Experience with AWE Workflow, Quest Stat, or LoadRunner is a plus.
