Job DescriptionAre you looking for a role that challenges both your creative skills as well as your analytical abilities? If so, look no further! Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced marketing manager to build creative campaigns that drive traffic and registrations for AWS\u2019 largest campaigns, our global events. In this role you will be responsible for designing and delivering an integrated campaign strategy and driving it from creation to completion. You will identify the needs and goals of the program and build related content/messaging to promote event registrations. You will effectively project manage the campaign through multiple marketing channels, including website, online advertising, print advertising, email, social media, etc. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple high-profile marketing projects simultaneously. This key team member should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to write compelling campaign copy. In addition, the role requires the ability to analyze campaign effectiveness, modify campaigns based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to play a highly visible role in an exciting, industry-leading technology business. ** For more information on AWS, please visit http://aws.amazon.com ** Key Responsibilities: · Develop detailed campaign project plans, including campaign goals, messaging, call to action, marketing distribution channels, and global campaign schedule. · Create compelling and effective copy that fits the appropriate audience and marketing channel while maintaining Amazon Web Services\u2019 brand and voice. · Oversee concept and creative development of campaign materials. · Forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness metrics as well as overall ROI to internal stakeholders. Plus, continually monitor, analyze and tune campaigns to maximize visit-to-registration conversion. · Work closely with Marketing Operations, Design, and Web teams to meet deadlines and execute campaign to your specifications.
Basic QualificationsBasic Qualification: · 10 years of related experience in demand generation, marketing communications, product marketing or channel marketing.· Technical writing skills. · Experience writing copy for event promotions, including but not limited to, websites, emails, newsletters, and campaign ads. · Event marketing experience. · Project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and external agencies, and multiple campaigns and projects at once. · Bachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Qualifications· Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce.com is preferable · Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.· Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.· Experience with event registration campaigns and promotional activities. · Proven examples of driving over 5,000 registrations to any one campaign. · Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services preferred. · Experience with online advertising or social media. · Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization. · Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth environment where priorities shift fast.
