The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the team with development of custom content marketing solutions, including packaging, pricing, positioning and execution. This role involves working with numerous business partners and creative resources to conceive, produce and execute robust best in class content marketing products and programs.
Responsibilities:
Manage all marketing aspects of product marketing including content packages and capabilities
Understand the brand positioning and drive product development and features that deliver on the brand promise
Fully own and manage the product/feature launch strategy, messaging and marketing support
Develop positioning, packaging and pitch materials for all Content Solutions products for the Sales Team
Create materials to educate and train the sales organization on new product and content opportunities, features and functionality
Develop pro-active sales programs, collateral and communications for marketing programs and sales outreach.
Fully own and manage website marketing
Partner with product management, design, general management and other cross-functional counterparts to drive product innovation, leveraging consumer insights and business knowledge.
Lead competitive analysis and feature benchmarks.
Requirements:
Experience in content marketing, packaging, advertising, sales and/or marketing within an agency or media environment preferred.
Strong PowerPoint skills a plus.
Experience with project management preferred.
Experience developing online marketing or sales programs preferred.
Understanding of social media, internet, mobile and passion for emerging media formats
The ability to work collaboratively across a large, matrixed organization to drive results.
Analytical skills and the ability to drive programs toward business goals.
Strong presentation skills, able to showcase marketing programs via presentations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Self-starter who is results-driven, resourceful and is a hands-on individual with a strong service orientation
