Link Technologies is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst for an exciting opportunity in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a one month contract with possibility of going permanent with a fast paced environment in Las Vegas, NV.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Web and Application Testing with a Programming Background.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Experience building automation framework that would test the product as a system, which involves using scripting tools such as Ruby, JRuby, Java, and UI automation tools such as Quick Test Pro, and LoadRunner.
Experience testing at least one of: transactional systems, scalable servers, search technologies, or e-commerce systems.
Proficiency with SQL a plus
The candidate must have performed small to medium size testing projects developed in Java/J2EE, XML and SQL Hands on experience with PL/SQL, XML, and debugging of logs.
Ability to extract data, write complex SQL queries and manipulate data for testing purposes.
Solid understanding of Web Technologies from quality assurance standpoint Start or stop or troubleshoot services on servers
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BSEE/CS/CE or equivalent required. MSEE/CS/CE preferred
10 years of QA experience. 4 years of recent experience in leading/managing software QA or development teams
Experience in developing test automation tools
Provide leadership of software development or quality assurance
An expertise in domain functionality of our software based products
Experience in gaming, retail, hospitality is a plus
Able to install, start, stop and trouble shoot services/interfaces, and install/uninstall applications, packages on test servers
Able to define and produce QA process documents
Accepts and completes any additional work assigned to him
Willing to guide offshore team
