The Outpatient Surgery Center PACU Staff Nurse performs duties in both Pre and Post Surgical Care Units. This position is assigned to our new Outpatient Surgical Center which is located at Northwest Hospital's Outpatient Medical Center (OPMC).
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Prior experience in both Pre-Surgical Admit and Post-Surgical Care Unit (PACU)
Must have at least one year of current PACU experience in either a surgery center or acute hospital setting.
Must have experience in a surgical environment/assessment skills
Must be able to cross train and work in different areas of Surgical Services
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Solid organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Strong IV skills
Critical care experience
