Design and manage automated build, release and maintenance processes
Support the build environment and work to upgrade/enhance the system as necessary
Create appropriate branches, snapshots and workspaces within the version control system
Create and manage the build system, including hardware and software administration
Provide deployment and troubleshooting support
Automate product installation using various tools and scripts according to product specifications
All other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study or equivalent experience required
3 years experience as a release engineer in a commercial software setting
Proven track record of configuration management (lab, build processes, version control) for N-Tier, enterprise class software products
Expert skills in version control systems (AccuRev experience a plus)
Expert skills with issue tracking systems (Atlassian JIRA experience a plus)
Administration of Windows servers, and SQL Server databases
Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems
Familiarity with commercial release life cycle methodologies, project management, quality assurance
Familiarity with source code and build challenges for C , C#, ASP.Net, SQL, HTML, XML, Web Services, and SOAP
Proven multi-tasking skills, superb task execution and drive to complete initiated projects
Strong foundation in packaging and licensing alternatives
Experience in installation scenarios for 3
rd
party component integration products helpful
Experience in working with a distributed team, including contractors preferred
Experience in Payroll/HR fields a plus
Attention to detail skills required
Able to work autonomously and with excellent time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication in conjunction with presentation skills
