SAN Engineer

Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a SAN Engineer who has experience working with Cisco MDS Switches. The Engineer will support the Tier 3 operations support team with time sensitive production issues and also perform network design.
The Engineer will be responsible for evaluating network standards and making suggestions to ensure better performance.
Employee will work at client site in Columbus, OH.
Primary work hours are 9am 5pm with a few exceptions for production changes.
Job Requirements
5 years of experience and solid knowledge of Cisco MDS (Cisco MDS 9000 Series Multilayer SAN Switches), and knowledge of Fiber Channel
Strong knowledge with Software (NX-OS, DCNM, etc)
Brocade knowledge is a big plus
Role will be working with reactive issues in regards to Cisco MDS
Working to resolve issues, re-design, fix network issues
Be proactive with the network to foresee potential issues and ensure maximum uptime
Have proficient knowledge of storage ( EMC, Hitachi, IBM)
