We have an immediate, long-term need for a SQL Report Writer. Please see job information below. Thank you. Respond to time-critical ad hoc requests and participate in on-going report creation, administration, maintenance, trouble shooting, tuning, and end user support and data reconciliation for Microsoft SQL databases using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Transactional SQL and ETL packages
Write and create stored procedures, triggers, views, functions, indexes
Develop ETL specifications and routines to extract data from multiple sources into facts and dimensions; define business entities for reporting, develop service bus architecture for data integration; combine facts and dimensions into data marts; respond to ad-hoc reporting requests as needed; develop canned reports and KPIs
Collaborate with end users to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing and validation.
Provide support to end users on standardized and ad hoc reports.

Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
Minimum 7 years experience as a Report Writer/Analyst using Microsoft SQL; minimum 10 years progressive experience in Information Technology; developing applications on SQL server 2008 (R2) platform; writing Microsoft SQL Server queries creating Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports. Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services, Business Intelligence Development and MS SQL Management Studios. Inventory and retail a plus; extensive professional experience in data analysis and report design/development; In-depth knowledge and experience with relational database concepts and query tools.
