On the Attraction Development side this cast member will work with multiple department managers and subject matter experts to develop IFP (Integrated Facility Planning) scope, estimate, department capacity, and workload balance.
On the PTO (Planned Technical Obsolescence) side, this cast member will deal with short life cycle components by developing strategies to identify, change-out, and inventory.
---Attraction Development —
Participate in job-walks during the initial IFP project scope development process.
Coordinate with other department managers for proper assignment of subject matter experts from each discipline to support the early phase of IFP scope and estimate development.
Develop high level execution schedules during IFP development phases. Coordinate SMEs to submit input on their respective discipline on a timely manner and follow up on their responses.
Work with the D&E business office and other resources managers to develop the department capacity and workload based on future year IFP plan.
Work with subject matter experts to identify short life cycle (
Collect existing inventory information from Disneyland (and Disney World if applicable).
Develop and maintain a resort-wide PTO strategy document
Maximize inventory utilization between the east and west coasts.
Develop a virtual warehouse for PTO spare components.
Work with maintenance teams to develop a physical warehouse for PTO spare components.
Work with the IFP group to provide input if any of the PTO effort needs to go through the IFP process.
Coordinate the PTO timing to work with the IFP cycle.
Alert the cognizant engineers in the affected discipline to update the drawings, maintenance manuals, and other related documents.
Work with department managers affected by the PTO process to estimate manpower needed for documentation update and down time requirement.
Coordinate with the FAM group to capture and salvage the PTO components during the change out process.

Basic Qualifications :
Minimum five years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction, planning, project execution, or project management.
Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
Strong, communication, collaboration, technical writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of the process of design, manufacturing, and construction.
Basic knowledge of different engineering disciplines such as civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and motion control.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Theme Park experience highly desirable.
Required Education :
Minimum 2 year undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical field such as engineering, architecture, construction management.
Preferred Education :
A four year degree is preferred.
