Senior Business Systems Analyst - SQL Web Application

Profile

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is the primary point of contact for interface between the business users and IS teams. This Senior Analyst formulates and defines systems’ scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, combined with a basic understanding of business systems.
Essential Functions:
Reviews programming requests and works with business users and technical staff to identify, gather, analyze, and document business system requirements
Articulates and presents business analysis results clearly and concisely to programming staff
Develops requirements tractability matrix to be used in software development and QA testing
Works with business users to document current work flow processes and collaborates with users in identifying, defining, and documenting process improvement options and alternatives, as directed by business needs
Works with business users to define and document business rules
Identifies required information fields and develops data dictionary
Participates in systems development efforts
Participates in testing, acceptance testing and implementation of information systems, modules and subsystems
Provides user support during application software implementations
Participates in training users on application software
Participates in Application Group and business unit meetings
Prepares and updates project plans
Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years business analysis experience
3-5 years full Software Development Life-Cycle experience
Health care experience required
Project Management experience, preferred
Web application development and support
Analysis and Business solutions on the web is required.
Experience in Web Application Development and Production Support as a Business Analyst.
SQL experience is REQUIRED and familiarity with Stored Procedures written in PL/SQL is a PLUS.
