build Infrastructure-as-a-Service that operate at high scale in a broadly

distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses

for a multi-purpose leader, with expertise and passion in managing and solving difficult

problems in planning and execution of our

[program] technical roadmap, in support of the product goals and to grow a

successful high-performance team-based culture. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still

at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives. Key Accountabilities Develop

and oversee execution of an integrated global strategic plan which provides

high quality data that enables efficient and effective decision making to

maximize the value of assets.Oversee

the development and maintenance of the cross functional timeline supporting the

overall program strategy- highlighting dependencies, milestones, deliverables,

and critical path; create timeline scenarios as needed and facilitate

cross-functional reviews.Facilitate

team development and management of program risks and mitigation plans as

appropriate.Identify

and escalate issues associated with team resourcing to functional management as

appropriate.Develop

all key strategic and program plans and drive aligned, comprehensive plan to

program strategy.Leads/facilitates

all PM activities supporting program via direct reports and partnering with

other functional area staff supporting program (i.e. matrix environment)Steward

of comprehensive plan and other key strategic/planning documentsPrimary

conduit for information flows cross-functionally within the program (i.e.

across sub-teams and functions)Advocate

and drive for overall project execution qualityOversee,

develop and disseminate relevant program related communications and dashboards

to functional areas and management, and governance forumsLead

the detailed planning of development timelines and resource requirements,

highlighting tradeoffs and co-dependenciesRecruit,

train, manage and develop a diverse team of Program Managers, who can each lead

individual Program teams to success and grow within the organizationFocus

on developing high-performing cross-functional teamsAt

the individual Program level, work with Program Managers to identify critical

path, bottlenecks, dependencies, risks and risk mitigation plans for all

programs, and implement all appropriate documentation for successful product

development in accordance with corporate quality systemsIdentify

bottlenecks and risks across the organization, which add risk to the overall

roadmapCommunicate

the strategy and project priorities across the organization, to ensure

alignment of all teams and functionsMeasure

and report key performance indicators (KPI) that track progress on the key

deliverables, and communicate regularly to senior executive teamParticipate

in and support strategic decision-making in the formal strategic planning

process and also on an ongoing basis with regards to tradeoffs in the business.Some

travel will be required. QualificationsBA/BS

in a related field. MA desirable. Experience in lieu of education accepted.Minimum

of 12 years total relevant experience (including industry, project management,

or academia), with at least 9 years in a project management role.Minimum

5 years of Program Management leadership experience, with track record of

success leading teams and supervising other project managers.5

or more years of experience in people management.Enterprise

operational leadership experience in a large matrixed environment, preferably a

systems, software oriented organization.Must

be a master communicator, problem solver, and relationship builder.Advanced

capabilities in leadership, business acumen, and influencing/persuasion within

a matrixes team environment.Ability

to motivate and empower teams.PMP

certification or equivalent is preferred.

Manage people for product development programs or projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system through the design process, and into a finished state for external customers. Plan and direct resource schedules as well as project budgets. Monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on technical matters. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the product/program/project on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area preferred.
