As part of the Visa Advertising Solutions team, this person will have responsibility for leading partnership
development efforts across Visa’s advertising solutions. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for identifying strategic partners to drive adoption of our advertising solutions. They will work in close collaboration with the product and sales team to understand the internal business and external market needs provide guidance and prioritization of partnerships to achieve our objectives. This person should have good problem solving ability, be able to prioritize and deliver on strategic partnerships to meet our objectives.
This person will report to the global head of Visa Advertising Solutions within Visa’s Merchant Sales & Solutions group. He/she will have significant exposure to key leaders across the Visa organization.
Possess significant functional
knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem and players involved, including in-depth
knowledge around insights, targeting and measurement solutions in the
Comfortable presenting and solutioning advertising and data related products with partners
Has in-depth knowledge and hands on experience on legal, privacy, risk and regulatory requirements around building data products and working with advertising technology partners
Has successfully worked on executing large partnership deals relating to data and/or advertising products
10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years’ experience in business development in the advertising technology and data products space
Advanced communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization
Strong business acumen – ability to influence strategy while driving tactical program delivery
Has good technical acumen to hold discussions with tech savvy partners
Is very well versed data flows, match processes and analytical modelling used in the advertising world
Experience in big data analysis and modeling techniques is a plus
Availability to periodically travel (~0%)
B.A./B.S. from top-tier university
Lead business development for all of Visa is advertising solutions through partnership that align with our strategic priorities. This person will be responsible for prioritizing the partnerships working closely with product, sales and account management teams
Create and own a healthy sales pipeline across direct and indirect clients through partners
Build relationships and coordinate business development efforts with key partners in the digital advertising ecosystem (e.g.
trade desks, publishers, platforms, marketing
Build a robust, strategic partnership rationale
Responsible for negotiating deal terms, pricing and legal terms working closely with privacy, legal, product and marketing teams
Responsible for getting appropriate internal approvals
Lead business and contracting negotiations with partners
