is recruiting for a Senior IT and Facilities Financial Analyst
to fill an opportunity in Dayton, OH.
The Senior IT and Facilities Financial Analyst works closing with IT and Facilities Management to develop annual budgets as well as long range plans in addition to ensuring monthly and quarterly forecasts are up to date. This position will also lead the booking of monthly allocations and closely review results against budget to determine where adjustments may be needed or if budget to actual appears to be out of line. This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
Lead the annual budget and allocations process for IT and Facilities.
Develops monthly and quarterly forecasts for submission to FP&A.
Update the monthly forecast and assist in preparing the long range plan for IT and Facilities.
Participates in building long range financial models and performing sensitivity analysis.
Responsible for the integrity of the financial statements, accounting process, and financial reporting, leads monthly and quarterly close process for numerous entries needed for IT and Facilities allocations.
Understands and communicates financial results and trends to IT and Facilities Management. Recommends appropriate course of action when results differ from plan and initiates corrections to financials when errors identified.
Conducts analyses and develops insights that improve the quality of decision making within the IT and Facilities management team.
Drives efficient and effective business processes.
Active involvement in business's resource planning.
Proactively develops new analyses and reports to provide insight and to assist management in making business decisions.
Ensures business initiatives create shareholder value for both the business and Trimble.
Skills & Experience Required:
MBA or equivalent experience required, CPA would be beneficial.
5-8 years accounting experience including experience in annual budget development.
Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and high confidence in stating professional opinions.
Presentation skills at the executive management level.
Strong grasp of GAAP accounting and general accounting concepts.
Extremely strong Excel skills, especially advanced financial modeling and analytical techniques.
Demonstrated ability to streamline and automate complex processes.
Must possess strong leadership characteristics.
Possess a working knowledge of IT systems design and implementation (preferably Oracle).
Competent business partner to business management.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of Oracle, COGNOS, and Hyperion applications
Travel – Approx. 10%
