Senior Litigation Attorney
Responsibilities : The candidate will be responsible for the research relevant statutes and case law to use in Mass Tort Litigation Cases at the federal level and various types of general litigation cases at the local state level. Draft pleadings, motions, and/or discovery requests/responses for cases pursuant to either Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and/or Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Oversee internal financial analysis of the Firm's BP Litigation and Settlement Cases. Communicate with clients who have deficient claims or cases based on the required financial documents (Tax Returns, Profit and Losses, Balance Sheets, and/or Income Statements). Assist in the preparation of cases for trial and be prepared to travel to various jurisdictions where cases may be filed to provide additional support. Any and all other tasks and responsibilities required by the Firm.
