Global Technical Services, LLC (GTS) is seeking resumes for a Senior Logistics/Procurement Specialist .
Selection and assignment of actual work commencement will be contingent on actual contract award. Possible location is OCONUS and CONUS (Sierra Vista, AZ).
SUMMARY:
Provide technical and administrative direction for personnel performing logistics automation functions, and performing supply management functions in an automated logistics environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage procurement actions and sub-contracts for ITAR compliance.
Provide contract deliverables to the PM in direct communication with the Customer’s appointed COR in PM’s absence.
Assist PM and FSTs by maintaining a digital library of all operator training and manuals.
Provide detailed analytical support to document trends in OEM support and prepare recommendations to the PM and COR.
Manage ASL with special focus on long lead times to meet Warfighter needs.
Provide deliverables in Maintenance Tracking and Small Site Administration or equivalent Customer-approved commercial Logistics Management software.
Conduct vendor outreach for key ISR or like systems.
Assist PM in monitoring timely execution of sub-contracts.
Coordinate travel requirements for contractor personnel.
This position may be located at either a Government or contractor's facility as required and reports to the Project Manager

Job Requirements :
Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university or Degree in similar fields such as Accounting, Business and Economics are acceptable.
Minimum/General Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience shall be in providing Logistics subject matter expertise to Government agencies; demonstrated experience in soliciting, negotiating, awarding, and evaluating contracts with commercial organizations, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, State, local and Foreign Governments
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to analyze budgetary/financial data and development of financial charts, graphs, and reports;
Demonstrated understanding of Government acquisition and Department of Defense Transportation policies; strong computer skills;
Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing requirements,
Handle multiple tasks while meeting key deadlines;
Ability to operate as a member of a strong team as well as work independently to complete daily tasks and report status as required;
Strong communication skills;
Driven and highly motivated team member

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position shall serve as the Project Manager in the absence of the designated PM.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to recieve a Secret clearance. (Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Accordingly, U.S. Citizenship is required.)
