We are looking for a QA Manager or QA Director who has a solid understanding of all types of testing including; functional, automation, load, and security and how they are used during the overall SDLC. The ideal candidate is someone who has been involved in estimating and executing testing for various types of software applications. The candidate enjoys interacting with senior members of the IT organization and is enthusiastic and articulate discussing the strategy and implementation of testing
Responsibilities:
Work with sales during discovery and scoping calls.
Work closely with prospects to review testing requirements and help develop proposals to meet those needs utilizing our services.
Work on and help in the delivery of RFP and RFI responses and templates
Provide research of coverage in our community for testers, environments and devices to determine our ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
Provide support in pricing for customized deals
Provide support for application demos of systems and products
Work with our product team regarding enhancements to our SaaS platform specific to valued feature/functionality that we can add for our customers.
Assist in the training of sales and delivery team for the detailed and technical aspects associated with QA and our service offerings.
Qualifications:
Strong quality assurance experience
Experience working directly with Director, VP and C-Level personnel
Ability to quickly review new products and determine their testing needs
Strong understanding of software development and testing processes
Proven ability to think quickly and present ideas verbally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Experience with automation including Selenium a plus
Experience with user experience and localization testing a plus.
Can-do attitude
B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
