A client of ours in San Antonio, Texas is looking for a PHP Software Developer for a permanent opportunity. Qualified candidates will have the following qualifications;
Summary:
Client is looking for a Developer to participate in on-going development of our telephony products. This position requires a candidate with solid programming experience who is capable of performing with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Duties:
Develop and design web based graphical user interfaces
Develop an array of web service clients and servers
Guide existing GUI development efforts
Ability to translate business data into a programmable design
Test and identify technical problems and hitches
Document technical specifications outlining variables and functions
Share opinions and insights with business leaders in order to affect rapid decision cycles and effective technical solutions to business requirements
Requirements:
3 years of software development, with at least 2 years of PHP, Javascript and relational databases.
Experience writing valid CSS, (X)(D)
BS in Computer Science, related fields, or equivalent work experience.
A solid understanding of n-tier architectures.
Thorough knowledge of Linux/Unix development environments.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Understanding of different transport formats (i.e. xml, json)
Keen eye towards the development of systems that can be easily maintained and debugged.
Good organizational, interpersonal and team skills.
Preferred Experience
:
Experience working with the Postgresql databases.
Experience working with telephony systems.
