Position Details
(TEMPORARY) SOFTWARE ENGINEER STAFF Job
Description:
1) Involvement in all software development life cycle project activities under limited supervision and following broad generalized procedures with emphasis on software requirements analysis, derived requirements definition, preliminary and detailed software design and documentation.
2) Performs task assignments of high deree of complexity requiring a general
knowledge of GPS system principles and concepts
3) Responsible for development of GPS receiver requirements and design which satisfies all System Specification performance requirements within given customer cost & schedule constraints.
4) Ability to work well with a diverse team. Must be a quick learner, able to produce quality requirements and be able to work independently
5) May performs special studies, hardware/software laboratory integration tests and data analysis for embedded GPS products.
Required Education/Experience:
1) Experience must include military program development experience, requirements definition (SRS), software design through SDR and PDR,
expertise in C.
2) Experience with DOORs, UML, SharePoint a plus.
3) Navigation, Kalman filters, Least Squares, GPS experience a major plus.
4) Bachelor of Science, M.S or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, EE, or Math or equivalent experience in Technical Discipline and 5 or more years of embedded real time software development experience.
