Description
The Workforce Optimization team is responsible for Interaction Optimizer which is a high-value product dealing with workforce management engineered and maintained by a team of exceptional developers. The team works hard and creatively to bring customers tools that can analyze and forecast load and resource requirements, optimize resource schedule creation and track resource schedule adherence. The team is pushing to be better than the best-of-breed solutions currently out in the market. Since the team is responsible for both back-end and front-end development, they use the following technologies: C#, WPF, JQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, REST APIs, WinForms, C , T-SQL, and PL/SQL. This position includes some flexibility in the technologies used and type of work done based on the candidates interests.
Major Responsibilities/Activities
Design, implementation, and maintenance of Workforce Optimization Team products and features.
Work with Education, Testing, and Documentation departments, where appropriate, to help create proper documentation, test plans, and education materials.
Engage in administrative activities such as scheduling, status meetings, compiling technical conference materials, and participating in code and design reviews.
Minimum Requirements
Two years experience developing GUI applications (such as WPF, WinForms, or web based applications).
B.S. or better in Computer Science or related field. Very strong candidates with equivalent work experience will be considered as well.
Strong knowledge of C# required.
Strong analytical and diagnostic skills required.
Strong communications skills required.
Pluses
Passion to keep learning new technologies and to create innovative software.
Experience with JQuery and some JavaScript framework.
Experience with WPF using the MVVM design pattern.
Passion to understand the end-user’s perspective and create an application that is enjoyable to use.
