What is expected of you for success in your role

Management of external and internal projects, to ensure that deliverables are produced that meet CHRS and client expectations for quality and timeliness, consistent with cost estimates and project budgets.

Communication and coordination with internal practice area leaders and other subject matter experts, as well as clients pre-, during and post-engagement.

Anticipation and communication of needs of assigned projects.

Representation of and advocacy for assigned projects.

Application of current knowledge trends of global requirements for project management and business analysis to assist in the refinement of the project management process.

Negotiation of project deliverable scope and timelines with internal and external stakeholders.

What is expected of you and others at this level in Research for functional success

Work to understand complex functional situations by focusing on the details of the required tasks and breaking them down into smaller activities.

Demonstrate deep client care expertise.

Collaborate with appropriate parties to identify the drivers leading to project success.

Proactively develop and maintain technical knowledge of global standards in project management, remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices.

Encourage informed risk-taking and act as a catalyst for innovation at Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences; generate practical, sustainable, and creative options to solve problems and create business opportunities, while maximizing existing resources.

Accountabilities in this role

Communication and execution of strategic and operational plans developed in coordination with Business Services – Business Analysis and Regulatory Sciences executive management.

Communication and coordination with practice area leaders (CMC, nonclinical, and clinical disciplines) to ensure successful project completion.

Anticipation and communication of needs for projects to Business Services – Business Analysis.

Representation and advocacy of project portfolio to Business Services – Business Analysis.

Interaction with clients to provide guidance and expertise to clients in the area of project management.

Maintain knowledge of current trends of global requirements for business analysis to further the development of CHRS and its associates.

Development and implementation of strategies for addressing a wide variety of business analysis needs.

Resolution of client issues related to project requirements.

Implementation of policies and SOPs to meet internal and external client needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Minimum five years’ experience in business analysis.

Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and clients in a consistent professional manner.

Strong organizational development skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with a diverse group of individuals located in multiple locations.

Experience with leading process improvements (e.g. lean six sigma) (preferred).

Proven ability to identify and define problems.

Proven ability to draw appropriate conclusions; propose solutions and/or correct actions.

Proven ability to organize and prioritize work and manage projects in a timely and effective manner.

Demonstrated ability to manage different types of complex, multi-faceted projects.

Strong ability to manage through change and conflict resolution.

Strong financial and general business management experience to create and manage project budgets.

Ability to travel occasionally.
