WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: SR ANALYST, ECOMMERCE EXPANSION
Mattel is seeking a Senior Analyst, eCommerce Expansion
to join our eCommerce team, based here at our worldwide headquarters in El Segundo, CA. This position will partner with the Senior Manager E-Commerce Expansion to progress the eCommerce vision, strategy, and execution plans on behalf of the Mattel and Fisher-Price Brands portfolio. The role will support Mattel’s Direct-to-Consumer eCommerce business objectives by activating new points of distribution, leading the technical implementation of eCommerce Expansion capabilities, and ensuring strong integration with newly activated channels. The overall goal is to drive incremental eCommerce sales by unlocking new eCommerce points of distribution through the activation and maintenance of eCommerce Expansion capabilities.
Champion activation of eCommerce DTC Expansion Initiatives and Capabilities which will drive business revenue, growth and stimulate shopper engagement.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of CommerceHub hosted integration, drop ship fulfillment and product catalog management capability from a DTC business perspective.
Execute first-party and third-party marketplace strategies with focus on driving website conversion, average order size, and profitable sales.
Support promotional planning and strategic sales planning across new DTC expansion channels.
Lead as a business partner and play a key marketing services role in support of delivering unmatched commercial excellence across newly activated eCommerce channels.
Deliver best-in-class product listings and brand presence across new eCommerce marketplace platforms by leveraging our digital assets.
Coordinate assets and content to facilitate new item setup and launch new products across new DTC expansion channels.
Support eCommerce merchandising creative execution and delivery across DTC expansion channels.
Execute regular data analytics across new eCommerce marketplaces: Sales, marketing, inventory, and merchandising analytics.
Analyze KPI’s and metrics to identify trends and recommend activity to generate sales growth and maximize conversion rates.
Recap weekly sites’ performance and consumer feedback for the benefit of senior management and other functional areas within the company.
Experience, Education & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required; MBA preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the digital retail/eCommerce arena preferably with a toy, retail or consumer products company
Success with implementing and/or maintaining Digital/eCommerce capabilities.
Experience leading eCommerce promotions
Experience working with, communicating, and aligning in a complex environment across multiple constituencies
Experience with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection) a plus
Demonstrated strategic business planning and management skills
Advanced analytical and conceptual skills
