Develops, implements, analyzes, and administers various compensation programs that support the Company's business strategy and compensation philosophy. 1. Analyzes compensation programs and policies, such as pay structures, merit guidelines, bonus targets, etc., to ensure that programs remain competitive and cost-effective. Researches market trends, conducts cost analysis and develops and presents recommendations based on findings.2. Participates in surveys and manages survey data including updating and maintaining data in compensation analytics tools, job matching, scope selection, and creation of market composites. Recommends vendors and surveys for participation, and compiles annual survey budget.3. Responsible for the annual common review process including communications, system set-up and maintenance, user support, equity analyses, and monitoring, approval and processing of merit increases.4. Prepares job descriptions, evaluates positions, conducts market price analyses, assesses exemption status and determines appropriate pay grades. Maintains job description documentation and related records.5. Performs or assists in the development, analysis, and administration of variable pay programs.6. Leads or assists with special projects as needed.7. Trains department associates on various compensation techniques, practices and systems.8. Performs systems testing as needed.9. Serves as internal compensation expert and provides guidance to management throughout the company regarding their compensation needs, interpretation of policies, organization structure, etc.1. Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.2. Minimum of 4 years compensation or related experience required.3. Strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Access required. PeopleSoft experience preferred.4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.5. Strong verbal & written communication and organization skills required.6. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail required.7. Working knowledge of laws and regulations affecting compensation programs required.8. CCP certification or courses toward CCP preferred.
