Irvine Product Quality, QMS, and FAA Manager is a vital leadership role within Rockwell Collins. Locally, within Irvine, this leadership role assure all product quality will meet our Customer commitments. Regionally, within the Southwest, this leadership role will assure our daily actions meet our regulatory commitments.
This leader is responsible for the quality of products being designed, developed, built, and sold from the Rockwell Collins Irvine location. This leadership position is also responsible for all FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) and QMS (Quality Management System) activities within the Rockwell Collins locations of Irvine, Calexico, and Mexicali.
* Leads product-focused quality activities to assure material is built and tested to Rockwell Collins specifications.
* Assures all FAA activities are completed as required.
* Serves as QMS lead, which includes all prep, facilitation, and post-audit activities, as well as leadership of all QMS Management Reviews.
* Champions Root Cause and Corrective Actions necessary to improve product quality, FAA, and/or QMS activities.
* Interfaces with customers, as appropriate, to assure quality expectations are understood and met.
* Acts in accordance with Rockwell Collins' principles of trust and integrity; tirelessly strive for 100% Customer Satisfaction.
Must Have Requirements: -STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Bachelor's degree
-Experience within Quality, Engineering, or a Customer-facing (e.g. Program Management, Customer Service) role
Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience.
Candidate must have experience within Quality, Engineering, or a Customer-facing (e.g. Program Management, Customer Service) role
