Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst 5 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Information technology support services contract for the SSA. This project standardizes the storage and transmission of medical records in a uniform electronic format. This is one of the largest repository of imaged medical information in the world. The position will provide programming and integration support in the implementation of an architecture based Enterprise Configuration Management System (eCMS) comprised of a discovery and dependency mapping tools and configuration management database. Selected candidate must be experienced in developing applications/programs using object oriented languages and developing platform or database specific tasks relating to data Extract-Transform-Load (ETL).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: 14 years experience with a Bachelors, 12 years experience with a Masters or work experience equating to such.
* Proven experience in development and integration using object oriented languages (i.e. Java, .NET and XML)* Proven experience in writing scripts based on JYTHON, JSCRIPT, TQL or PL-SQL (Oracle)* Experience with development methodologies using different software languages
* Excellent knowledge of software languages and COTS applications
* Must have the ability to write code to customize/create new integration programs needed to facilitate CMDB federation architecture and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) from authoritative data sources
* Must be a self-starter and take responsibility for completing assignments on time
* Strong technical, written and oral communication skills
* Solid organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Experience developing, integrating, and deploying solutions across a large, distributed Oracle or MS/SQL database environment
* Possesses hardware and technical software operations knowledge for medium- to large- organizations
* Proficiency in MS Word, MS Power Point, and MS Visio Preferred Certifications: Candidates with these certifications will be given preferential consideration:
* HP CMDB/DDMA, BMC Configuration Management System Training and Experience
* Database Integration & Management- Microsoft SQL, Oracle and MySQL Experience. ITIL v3 Certification
