Strategic Services Associate, Senior
Duties: Serve as the manager responsible for coordination and management of all 800 plus clinical contracts executed to support School of Nursing student clinical site placements. Responsible for establishing the process, systems and technical programming needs in support of the contracting aspects of clinical placement processes. Ensures contracts established and updated in a timely manner, working with clinical site administrators, physicians, nurses and attorneys, as well as School of Nursing faculty and executive leadership. Serves as School of Nursing liaison to the Medicine Clinical Contracting Services (CCS) office for communication regarding non-standard contracting and legal issues. Lead and actively participate in the implementation of the clinical contracts improvement plan. Develop strong collaborative and effective working relationships with the leaders of the Clinical Placement Office and the CCS and their attorneys who support the School of Nursing. Receive requests from new contracts and/or GNE agreements. Send applicable approved standard contract for student clinical rotations to the clinical site contact and request signature. Track closely so that contracts come back either signed or with requested changes within established timeframes. Follow up with sites if contracts are not returned within established timeframes. Review contracts that are returned by the clinical site without any changes against standard contract to confirm no changes were made by the site. Provide contracts that come back with no changes to the CCS for their secondary review and approval. Provide contracts that are returned by the site with changes requested to the CCS for their review as to acceptability of the requested changes and for follow up with the clinical site. Establish procedures and tactics to ensure expedited review and follow up by the CCS including remaining aware of pending contract status, next steps and timeframes. Provide real time updates in Clinical Placement System regarding contract status. Help define system functionality modifications needed to support this responsibility. Provide ADFA with weekly new and renewal contract status updates, including length of time contracts are in each step of the process and plans to expedite those that are exceeding allowable timeframe parameters. Identify proposed contracts that include terms that should be reviewed by the ADFA and possibly vetted with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs or others. Document for the deviations from standard student compliance requirements. Present contracts that have been fully vetted and reviewed to the ADFA for signature, identifying any deviations from the standard contract language and compliance expectations that are outside those that are already part of existing procedures. After ADFA signs, ensure fully executed contract is entered into the system, along with a scanned image. Conduct all communications with clinical site personnel at all times in a highly professional, cordial, courteous, and friendly.
