The Talent Acquisition Consultant (Corporate Recruiter) will perform a key role for the organization through effective leadership of talent acquisition operations and technology and performing full end-to-end recruiting/position management, relationship management/collaboration with senior leaders and hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large.
The TA Consultant would be responsible for the following:
: Organizes strategy and planning related to recruiting by working collaboratively with hiring managers at all levels from various departments within the company to develop a workforce planning strategy, confers with Senior leaders within departments to develop a workforce planning strategy, university relations strategy, intern strategy, and search assignments, and leads the design of these strategies within each department as appropriate for personnel and business needs.
Creates contacts within industry by developing and maintaining a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified senior level employees, develops and maintains strong working relationships with Company leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
Manages working relationships with external retained and contingent recruiting firms, negotiating current and future contracts, and keeping the company’s best interest, policies, and processes in mind.
Writes job postings, sources, identifies, recruits, and screens potential internal and external candidates, provides guidance to hiring committee on hiring policies and procedures, works closely with key stakeholders to give offer recommendations, negotiate job offers, and facilitate on-boarding activities or internal job moves if appropriate, administers sign-on bonuses and relocation details, and manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
Consults/advises managers on overall hiring process, collaborates on job requisition details and creation, and advises on effective assessment/interview techniques.
Reporting & Analytics
: Develop/maintain talent acquisition reporting, analytics and dashboards including design and implementation of processes, execution and distribution of reoccurring reports; along with ad-hoc report and analysis as needed. Compliance reporting/appropriate systems and policies to support applicant tracking.
Identify, implement and manage systems and platforms (“Recruitment Technology”) in support of Global Talent Acquisition programs and processes (applicant tracking system; onboarding, recruitment marketing platform, templates and workflows; etc.). Collaborate with the Recruiting, TA leadership team and other HR functions to identify process improvements, technology enhancements, and training opportunities. Participates in the implementation of Global Recruitment Technology/ATS that is scalable and supports/meets the need of the business. Implementation of Global Recruitment Technology to reduce cycle time of new hire, eliminate manual processes and tracking tools, reduce agency expenditures, and increase reporting & metrics capabilities. Design and implement process for talent acquisition KPI’s and metrics leveraged to drive efficiencies. Ensure talent acquisition compliance with policies, processes and practices. Maintain current knowledge of federal, state and local employment practices and labor laws. Develop training programs and tools to enable ease-of-use by talent acquisition team and other internal stakeholders for all technology.
: Establish key strategic initiatives for Employment Brand, Develop and oversee annual strategy and communication plan/targets. Partner with cross functional resources such as corporate communications, marketing, etc. to ensure the voice of Perrigo is accurate and represented. Enhance awareness and attractiveness of Perrigo as an employer among target populations. Support ongoing maintenance for all Social Media outlets: Perrigo Company FaceBook, Perrigo Careers Twitter, Perrigo Company Linkedin and Career Page. Help with the creation of templates/print materials that job seekers, candidates and new hires receive throughout the assessment, selection and pre-boarding process such as benefits overviews, offer letter templates, pre-boarding documents, etc. Track analytics for programs and make decision on go forward plans.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Ability to communicate, including verbal and written, hiring managers and employees within all levels of the organization.
Strong knowledge and experience with recruitment, including senior/director level recruitment.
Understands when conditions in the market may present issues in meeting client deliverables; keeps abreast of industry developments and builds sourcing strategies that take into consideration market or industry conditions.
Shows deep understanding of client needs; effectively manages client expectations; proactively communicates to client any issues or obstacles that may interfere with meeting client deliverables and responds quickly to client needs and concerns.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing the employee selection process, including affirmative action and diversity initiatives, and ability to guide managers through the selection process to assure compliance to employment law and state and federal regulations.
Bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
Three to five years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting, as well as interviewing salaried/exempt professional and managerial positions. Prior staffing/recruiting agency experience preferred.
Previous demonstrated project management experience and program management preferred.
