Technical Test Analyst
Position Summary:
Tests functionality and performance of software. Ensures that applications meet all approved service requests and business requirements and provides technical leadership of those activities.
Essential Accountabilities:
Reviews business requirements and functional specifications to devise test plans and test scripts including functionality, performance, penetration, and scalability capacity and regression analysis. Creates and presents results of testing performance.
Provides technical input related to the testing process, procedures and in testing functional requirement testing, regression testing, load/stress and performance testing. Develops approaches to facilitate testing efforts.
Provides root cause analysis on problems encountered during testing and when necessary with production issues, and follows through on possible solutions. Diagnoses complex software problems, recommends solutions and determines when program requirements have been met.
Utilize testing tools, including the automation of test scripts, scenarios, and validate and review test results.
Tests functionality of specific application, as well as certain aspects of software integration.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Adheres to the Bank's attendance policies through regular and prompt attendance.
Job Specifications:
Bachelor's degree
8-10 years of related work experience
Knowledge of complex and diversified procedures, practices, and policies
Knowledge of complex procedures and practices of a specific function
Proficiency with complex business machines (computers, etc.)
Knowledge of procedures and services of related areas (such as accounting or purchasing)
Specialized, technical skills
Thorough understanding of a scientific discipline (for example, economics, management, computer science)
Additional Accountabilities:
Performs analysis to determine needs for custom software applications or testing tools to automate testing and make testing procedures more efficient.
Executes manual and automated functional, performance, penetration, scalability, capacity, and regression testing.
Design, develops, enhances, and tests all testing tools.
Experience developing and testing web applications which use, run on, or are tested with Java and QTP is required.
Experience developing and testing web applications which use, run on, or are tested with JavaScript, BSF, Servlets, Applets, Spring, iBatis, Perl, Websphere, and Oracle is highly desired.
