Title IX Coordinator
The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring all aspects of compliance with Title IX and related federal/state legislation, regulations, and case law. Will reports directly to the Assistant to the President for External Affairs, and works closely with Human Resources, Student Affairs, and Public Safety. Will manages all aspects of the University's Title IX compliance efforts and is responsible for all related educational programs, policies and procedures, all official reports required by these or any other related laws or acts, and for investigating and resolving reports of sex discrimination (including sexual violence). Will have prior experience in investigating student/employee complaints related to discrimination or misconduct, demonstrated knowledge of Title IX, VAWA and other applicable laws, and knowledge of state and federal law and regulations and best practices in higher education related to Title IX and VAWA compliance for institutions of higher education. Should have JD degree from an ABA accredited law school, admission to practice in Pennsylvania with 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a higher education or regulatory environment is preferred. Should have or be prepared to earn ATIXA Level One Certification with additional Certification levels are preferred.
