What Learning Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Learning Delivery is responsible for facilitating instructor-led training (ILT), evaluating courses, and managing training processes associated with ILT.

Demonstrates basic knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices.

Under guidance, consults with customers to identify development needs and collaborates with appropriate partners to recommend solutions.

Demonstrates basic knowledge and effective use of

presentation/facilitation

tools, techniques, materials, etc.

Possesses basic knowledge of and experience in using training system technologies and classroom tools.

With supervision, may adapt classroom management/teaching techniques 'on the fly' to a wide variety of classroom situations.

Uses effective questioning and probing skills to adapt and modify delivery.

Provides feedback on course design and content to Instructional Design & Development (IDD) team.

Provides feedback to manager.

Qualifications

1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. 3 or more years of experience preferred.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) year college education preferred

Must have a good working knowledge of manufacturing processes at Crystal Lake Plant.

Must have at least a performance rating of meets expectations or above.

To be qualified, must not have more than 4.5 points

No current corrective action

No recorded safety incidents

Advanced Computer Skills required

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Must be fluent in the English language and be able to communicate training procedures to trainees. Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions.

Must have a positive attitude, promote teamwork, and be able to speak in front of a large group of people during training

Basic math, reading and writing skills.

Accountabilities:

Use various training methods and/or systems to coordinate and deliver training for new hire and transferred employees.

Conduct job-specific training to Tenders.

Must feel comfortable speaking in front of a large audience.

Coordinators will be responsible for conducting and/ or scheduling all orientations for new temporary employees, transfers, cross-training and others.

Must be able to communicate effectively to trainers and trainees and instruct them on how to perform all essential functions listed above.

Train and assist in administering ComplianceWire management.

Design/Develop/Evaluate

Collaborate/partner with Senior Training Specialist and subject matter experts (SME’s) to identify needs and content

Identify target audience and describe their characteristics (who they are, what they do)

Identify learning needs, performance improvement needs of target audience

Define and sequence instructional content, suggesting most appropriate delivery method

Develop instructional materials Evaluate training effectiveness by administering tests, quizzes, and observational checklists

Provide constructive feedback to supervisor, leads and temporary agency on trainee’s and (On-the-Job) trainer’s performance.

Collect evaluation data

Analyze and interpret data

Disseminate and follow-up on the findings and recommendations

Coordinate

Coordinate Train the Trainer program annually and/or as needed.

Coordinate annual certification program for Manufacturing Tenders to comply with FDA, GMP and ISO regulations.

Coordinate monthly update to hourly Individual Development Plan.

Coordinate training for technical work force to continue upgrading skills to keep up with current and incoming technology within the facility.

Use various training methods and/or systems to coordinate and deliver training for new hire and transferred employees.

Support and Coordinate all departments in weekly, monthly, and annual trainings.

Monitor/Audit

Assist in internal and external audits of departmental training programs and records.

Assist in internal audits of departmental training programs and records.

Responsible for daily follow-up on the training program with all new hires, transfers, cross- training and other trainees.

Clerical Administration

Maintain training materials (derived from Work Instruction Sheets), changes to training materials, and work towards the creation and implementation of standard training documentation.

Maintain records of training and work towards electronic management of records.

Train and assist in administering ComplianceWire management.

General

Must be considered a role model and behave in a manner that is exceptional.

Work independently from verbal and/or written instructions from Supervisor and others in leadership roles.

Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions immediately.

Must be able to communicate in verbal or written form.

Ability to lift up to 45lbs with repetitive movements.

Ability to read, speak, write and understand English.
