Summary:
Looking for a mid level UI developer
who will focus on the system’s front end/UI, but who has the expertise and ability to integrate the front end with other components of the Business Intelligence system and Database
. Will work as part of a team to deliver the data warehouse application
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducting user requirements analysis with project stakeholders to identify key elements of UI functionality that integrates with our client’s enterprise Business Intelligence tool.
Conducting UI design process and communicating end-product vision and development options to project team members and leadership, incorporating feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
Developing presentation-quality wireframe, data flow, or other mock-up documents that communicate how stakeholder requirements will be implemented via the UI
Strong experience with Java, J2EE, UML, OOAD (object oriented analysis and design) and multi-tier software architecture
Experience developing rich web UI applications using Java technology including: JSP, Servlets, JDBC, XML, Java based XML API's, and RESTful Web Services
Deep understanding of front-end web technologies including HTML, , AJAX, CSS, and JavaScript
Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle
Experience with Tomcat configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
Revising and enhancing UI in an agile fashion as user feedback is obtained from the user community
Develops the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to, security, rules infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfaces.
Interprets business requirements and implements the necessary process to fulfill requirements.
Employs best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan development.
Actively participates in the documentation of software requirements, functional design, flowcharts and diagrams.
Supports completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and in production.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
Requires bachelor's degree and five to seven years of related experience.
Technological Qualifications:
Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, Ajax, Java and related components, JQuery, Javascript, CSS, Apache, Tomcat
