Web Accessibility Consultant

Profile

Perform ADA Web Accessibility reviews for Bank of America websites and mobile applications. Provide consultation to project teams to resolve accessibility issues, perform testing, and provide training to developers, testers and project teams. Strong communication skills required. Must be able to communicate and coordinate project activities and deliverables for multiple projects at a time.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5 years of software engineering (coding) experience in HTML/JavaScript/AJAX/Java/J2EE
- Ability to contribute to a team of engineers in cross-functional teams (including QA, Product Management, etc
- Expertise or familiarity with well-designed user interfaces
- Experience with W3C (WCAG 2.0, Sec 508) guidelines; Freedom Scientific JAWS; VoiceOver for iOS Screen Reader; HTML, HTML5, ARIA, Javascript, CSS & JQUERY.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- 2 years of software engineering (coding) experience in iOS/Objective-C
- Experience with phone SDK versions 5 & 4
- Experience in developing applications for devices iOS
- Experience with Screen Reader
- Experience developing on Android is a plus
