Responsibilities:
Windows Server Administrators' role is to ensure proper system operations in effort to accomplish business objectives. This includes:
Monitoring and tracking server activity and utilization
Perform software upgrades and maintain computer hardware
Working with Microsoft and other industry-based technologies in a maintenance/process improvement capacity
Assist in performing the configuration, staging, installation and ongoing support of client server environments
Addressing end user questions about technical problems
Improve efficiency by the evaluating of system network functions.
Other duties may be required from time to time
Ideal candidate will possess:
3 years of applicable experience
Microsoft Certified on server operating systems.
Knowledge of current database and web server technologies
Knowledge of client server environments, network, and client operating systems
Knowledge of server hardware and peripheral components
Proven ability to apply knowledge in a variety of environments
Proficient knowledge of industry security practices
Ability to independently work on assigned projects.
Proven ability to lead initiatives interacting with staff across departmental levels
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to effectively provide customer service and represent CSI professionally at all times
On-call availability required
