We are a dedicated team that works together to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues faster, more accurately, less expensively, and with more visibility than customers can usually do on their own.
We are looking for experienced Wireless Network Engineer to join seasoned network support team. Candidate must have experience with large enterprise LAN/WAN or Data Center environments with strong expertise with Cisco routing and switching in addition to previous experience with WLAN 802.11 technologies including Wireless LAN Controllers, AP's, WSC, and WEP.
A successful candidate must possess foundational leadership, communications, and operational skills. Additionally, they must have a desire to learn an extreme level of commitment to customer success.
Job Responsibilities may include the following tasks;
- Provides remote network management and network consultation to independently solve problems including design, configuration, and performance issues for enterprise Wireless networks
- May provide recommend improvement initiatives to provide highly available network
- Provides systems/product training both internally and externally and intellectual property material
- Provides input to internal engineering and product organizations on future product development
- Acts as a focal point for large account network problem resolution.
- Effectively utilizes lab setups to debug broad and complex problems related to the following technologies
--- Cisco Routers (ISR - 3800, 3900, 4500, and 6500)
--- Cisco Switches (3750, 6509, etc.)
--- Cisco Wireless Access Points
--- Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
--- Cisco WSC
--- Cisco Access Control Server (ACS)
--- VLAN, VTP, Spanning Tree, Multicast
--- Protocols - HSRP, OSPF, EIGRP
--- RF performance issues
--- MPLS
Required Skills:
- Typically requires BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent plus 4-6 years related Wireless network experience
- CCIE written or CCIE candidate preferred
- CCNP required
- Ability to analyze, configure and troubleshoot large and complex enterprise Cisco 802.11 wireless based networks and components including Access Point, Wireless LAN Controllers, WSC
- Is a technical expert in more than one area with a wide understanding of networking protocols and concepts such as HRSP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, VLAN, Spanning Tree and Multicast
- Proven planning, prioritization and organizing skills
- Drive for continuous learning, results orientation and teamwork
- Utilization of a good understanding of Cisco business strategies and drivers to guide activities
- Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement
- Proven crisis management skills
- Proven leadership skills
