Payroll Processor with Experience in Lawson/HR System

Job Profile
KELLY SERVICES IS HIRING FOR A PART-TIME PAYROLL PROCESSOR WITH EXPERIENCE IN LAWSON!!!!
Duties will include knowledge of Lawson system and heavy use of Excel and Word, along with the following duties:
- Verification of HRSC, Payroll mailbox for electronic MSS transactions
- Creation of Excel spreadsheet to hand off pay station changes to HR data entry
- Termination final paychecks calculated
check on work

California state requirements
coordinate the payments with payroll cycle
- Prepare manual check
or time, document payment, copy to HR data entry
- Pay out unused vacation days, pay station change, lieu of notice # of weeks
- Check timecard lost hours on Lawson HS35
- Prepare stop pay for exempt and non exempt employees
- Inconsistent unused vacation unused contact manager/HR
- Execute job to double each benefit deductions per employee - if necessary
- Check to see if overpayment exists – set up as required
- Pull checks for
voids and cancel payments due to timing
- Involuntary termination = contractual agreement forthcoming
*Review severance agreement terms – signed by employee, review election lump sum or salary continuance benefit continued or not, pass screen prints to HR data entry – status code
- Calculate & prepare payment set up on PR30 start and end date based upon normal salary and pay frequency, determine adjustments regular pay /severance pay $ reclass for G/L
- Research all 0001 pay station checks produced from cycle –
- Review the 0007 pay checks to excel spreadsheet
- Mail checks = DHL or first class or interoffice
- Complete employee termination packette include benefit info;
Unemployment filing info, Wage works for verification, California notices
