Responsibilities and prospects for the Oracle Analyst include: Works with customers and business analysts to understand business objectives and develop technical system solutions to achieve them Develops technical solutions, including alternatives analysis, for complex systems implementations Provides technical guidance and support to departmental peers and participates in solutions designs for complex systems integration Works as an individual contributor to develop software modifications or creation of new code Performs desk checks and unit tests and debugs their work to ensure specifications are met. Develops all required documentation Regularly provides guidance and training to colleagues Adhere to all work management processes and documentation standards established Work flexible hours, outside standard business hours, as required, to apply system maintenance, upgrades or to perform project implementation activities Participate in Primary or Secondary on-call support as required Serves as a technical expert in a given business area and works with customers to develop goals/objectives for requested changes and to analyze requirements Lead design sessions for highly complex technical solutions. Define system specifications from which programs will be created Create database specifications for applications and work with database administrators for infrastructure support Work with peers for the creation of integrated applications Recommends to IT management upgrades and changes to systems based on knowledge of systems and customer requirements Research industry trends and stay abreast of technical solutions being developed and software development best practices
Education and experience for the Oracle Analyst include: Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in related field such as Computer Science Certifications Oracle E-Business Suite experience is required 8 years of progressive and relevant experience in applications development and maintenance Demonstrated history of successful software development using an industry standard systems development lifecycle Utility experience or work in a regulated environment Functional / Technical Requirements Relevant programming language certifications Demonstrated ability to create professional work products (requirements matrices, functional/technical designs, unit test cases, etc.) Leadership experience on complex projects Prior Oracle Application experience (Hyperion, OBIEE, and/or ODI) Apply now or refer a friend by forwarding this posting About Kelly IT Resources Kelly IT Resources (KITR) is a specialty service of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a leader in providing workforce solutions.
