Please visit our Web site at **** Responsibilities General Ledger Duties:
Perform, or assist with, reconciliations of cash clearing accounts. Create journal entries as directed to transfer funds and / or clear reconciling items. Coordinate the inter-company and inter-department cash transfers via journal entries and accounts receivable sub-ledger maintenance.
Accounts Receivable Duties:
Assist with daily input of cash applications as necessary. Maintain team email box to ensure timely dissemination of workload to the Cash Team for daily processing. Perform key Peoplesoft processes to initiate and complete lockbox processing. Perform research as necessary to assist with proper cash applications. Work with all accounting personnel to identify and timely apply in-coming bank wires and ACH’s.
Miscellaneous Duties:
Perform daily spreadsheet maintenance of Cash Team’s dashboard and cash summary spreadsheets. Other analysis and spreadsheet work as directed. Collate cash batches and reports for file room storage and perform file room research as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of related accounting experience and/or training.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business documents.
Conduct basic financial analysis.
Must be able to calculate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.
Ability to make effective presentations to internal groups.
Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
