Billing Systems Analyst - Southfield, MI
Tasks
- Conduct extractions, audits, and analysis of data from a variety of sources including InfoDDP, Data Warehouse, AMDOCs billing system, and
other data sources.
- Provide trending and analysis of product/customer/premise information for other departments including finance, marketing, customer service,
technical operations, division, and headquarters.
- Work directly with department analysts and managers to plan, design, test, and implement reporting solutions.
- Identify and recommend scalable and fully automatable solutions to various business reporting needs.
- Perform root cause analysis and manage error correction in support of subscriber reporting, work order accuracy, and billing system related
issues.
- Run and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required b y management.
- Able to perform “on-call” status as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or prior billing system and reporting experience.
- Prior cable television industry experience preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of development experience in a mix of the following technologies:
- .NET Framework (asp.net, ado.net, vb.net, C#).
- Prior experience in MS SQL Server 2005 T-SQL programming preferred.
- Microsoft Excel and Access advanced user skill level.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to document business needs and effectively interface with various functional groups.
- Must be well organized with strong attention to detail accuracy.
- Familiarity with InfoDDP and Data Warehouse preferred.
