Academic Year Internship
The interns gather information for constituents; assist staff members with research; request information from federal agencies; and answer telephones, filing, sort mail. College students and recent college graduates are considered. Limited intern positions are available during both the academic school year and the summer. Candidates should be able to make a commitment of at least 10 weeks, and for summer internships a commitment of 10 to 12 weeks is preferred. Should have good oral and written communication skills, be highly motivated, demonstrate knowledge of computer applications, exhibit creativity and show initiative.
