VP - Sales Strategy and Business Development
The candidate will manage advanced sales and marketing support, product consultation, and business development projects. Will participate in developing and delivering products and marketing and sales programs as a key member of the life and annuity marketing team working closely with group distribution partners. Oversee case design and support function to assure effective consultation with agents on advanced market cases and programs. Direct staff to create and implement effective sales strategies in the areas of estate planning, business planning and charitable giving that utilize life insurance and annuities as appropriate funding solutions. Manage marketing material development to provide effective, accurate and timely sales techniques for Group's chosen markets. Direct research into evolving markets and changing tax laws to keep Group at the forefront of advanced markets selling strategies. Ensure advanced market strategies are in compliance with all federal and state requirements. Interface with other departments to assure coordinated and effective strategies to place large case business. Oversee training and presentations to internal and external stakeholders that support and enhance our sales success. Coordinate a steady flow of trade journal and industry group articles and presentation to enhance Group's image in the financial services industry. Travel regularly to support sales distribution through consultation, presentations and attendance at industry events. Work with other Home Office areas to support and enhance the overall marketing effort.
