Director of Federal Governmental Affairs
The candidate will be responsible for building a unique federal public policy practice that will enhance the Firm's market leading, multi-disciplinary practices in the areas of technology, renewable energy, financial institutions, and Asia. Will be representing clients before Congress, the White House, and other federal agencies and working collaboratively with attorneys at the Firm to advise clients on pending or contemplated federal legislation, and/or other public policy issues before the federal government. Working closely with the Firm's state government affairs practice to provide clients with innovative and comprehensive public policy solutions for their most important legal and business issues. Recent experience at the highest levels of government or in the private sector is required. Substantial working knowledge and relationships with members of the Senate and the House essential. Should have experience and substantial knowledge of one or more of the following subject areas: technology, renewable energy, financial institutions.
