This is a long-term temporary position at 40 hours per week. Please pay attention to the requirements for this position, as they are very specific - REQUIRING SAP HCM The Service Specialist provides the foundation for the North America HR function by providing transactional HR administration and services to the various businesses HR Administration & Data Management Executes HR Processes and completes relevant administration and data maintenance as defined in process documentation including: Personnel Administration (e.g. New Hire/On-boarding, Organizational Changes, Payments & Allowances and Terminations), Position Maintenance, Absence. Completing key actions for terminated employees (e.g. PKI termination etc) Implement Data Changes, including providing support for Mass Data Changes Update and maintain Organization structure. Ensures all documentation generated or provided by other HR areas is stored appropriately so company remains in compliance with relevant legislative requirements Actively exchanges relevant information with client organizations, Novartis Legal and employees Provides reports and documents to HR, Novartis Legal & Line customers Provides support and feedback where necessary to other HR Core roles, notably Global Organization Administrators Communicates openly and consistently with client organization, HR network as well as with internal service functions regarding HR Core processes. General Update work process tracking systems (Quest) to ensure Service Line Agreements and quality measures are accurate. Supports the business and associates in the self service functionalities available in the portal Monitors centralized cross divisional HR service inbox or other team wide communication channels and ensures any associate or manager submitted items are actioned. Provide other support to divisional HR teams, or work on various special projects as required. Other activities as required, or as the business changes or the role evolves. Experience Requirements Excellent communication skills Bi-lingual English/ Spanish a plus 2 years in HR or other administrative experience Practical experience with HR Systems, ideally SAP HCM Is familiar with the key SAP HCM processes in the areas of Organization Management Personnel Administration, Absence Management If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply!
