Engineering Project Manager: Brewing Industry
Job Profile
For over 60 years, Kelly Services has provided outstanding employment opportunities, including temporary, direct hire, and temporary-to-hire, to the most talented individuals in the marketplace.
Our client is an Engineering Firm who specializes in the Food & Beverage Industry, primarily large breweries. They have a current need for a Direct Hire, Engineering Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Vice President of Engineering
Leading a project team in the management, design, and execution and commissioning of turnkey or managed projects.
Liaison with the VP Engineering on resources, technical and planning requirements.
Preparation of technical specifications and quotations to prospective clients
Technical liaison with clients and end users all sectors
Deciding on technical solutions and working with the project team in preparing outline and detailed designs
Specification, selection and procurement of in-line process equipment
Preparation, submission and review of technical specifications for procurement.
Close working relationship with all internal departments and divisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Selection, procurement and management of sub-contractors
Start-up and commissioning activities
Qualifications:
5 years experience in one or more that includes, Ethanol, brewing, distilling, food & beverage.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Excellent communication skills (English)
Ability to travel throughout North America & UK at client facilities.
Experienced with AutoCAD
& Microsoft Office
