Bioprocessing Technician Weigh and Dispense

Job Profile
Bio Process Technician - Weigh and Dispense
1 year contract
Located in North County
Responsible for completing assigned tasks which include cleaning, sterilizing, and prepping glassware and parts used in the manufacturing environment.
Weighing and Dispensing materials for use in Manufacturing.
Work with senior technicians and leads to prioritize tasks and assignments and make recommendations to maximize efficiency and productivity based on shift needs.
Will include stocking, inventory management and environmental monitoring.
Will be asked to use pallet jacks.
Mechanically inclined and are able to meet the physical demands of weighing materials and transporting items on pallet jacks on a regular basis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to learn fast will be key.
Upon successful integration into this role, additional roles with SAP and GMP operations may be added to your roles and responsibilities
Skills:
Familiarity of computer-based systems.
Word, Power Point, Excel, and Google Docs, Strong communication skills.
Basic math Knowledge Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment.
cGMP Prior training in chemicals/powder handling.
HAZWOPPER
Excellent attention to detail Must possess good problem solving, interpersonal communication, and team skills and have experience and knowledge in a GMP environment. Experience in warehousing prefered
Experience with Material Handling Equipment and Forklifts preferred.
Must be a self-starter with strong focus on quality, details, results and application of cGMP.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work weekends and off shift.
Education:
Preferred College degree in business or biotech.
HS minimum 1 year experience within cGMP regulated environment
