EmploymentCrossing Unveils Its Brand New Website Design
March 12, 2008
Pasadena, CA — EmploymentCrossing, the main hub for more than 30 industry-specific job boards and websites with a total of more than one million active jobs, launched its new and improved website design today, further enhancing its users' job-search experiences.
"Today I am pleased to announce EmploymentCrossing's new look and navigation," said CEO Harrison Barnes. "With more accessible site features on the main page, EmploymentCrossing users can easily understand how our diligent researchers and advanced technology bring users literally thousands of jobs each day, and why we are the most effective job-research institution available anywhere."
EmploymentCrossing currently showcases 34 industry-specific and niche job boards and has plans to almost double that number in the coming year. Starting later this month, the ambitious job-research institution plans to showcase at least five new Crossing websites each week.
Some industries and niches EmploymentCrossing plans to specifically cater to next include nursing, recruiting, publishing, real estate, journalism, and television, just to name a few.
EmploymentCrossing charges its users a monthly fee of $29.95 to access its job listings. This fee pays for its team of researchers, programmers, and other staff members who hunt down and post every single quality job they can on a daily basis. It also allows members to gain access to the 30-plus industry-specific Crossing job boards (except for LawCrossing, which requires a separate subscription). A list of the entire collection of Crossings can be viewed at EmploymentCrossing. A free, seven-day trial of the service is also available.
Students are able to access EmploymentCrossing's supply of jobs for free while they are in school. This means that students can get a heads-up on all relevant internships and jobs as they near graduation without spending a dime on the service.

Why People Prefer EmploymentCrossing to Other Job Sites
"Using people and sophisticated technology, we search tens of thousands of employer websites, newspaper classified sites, job boards, government sites, public interest sites and more looking for jobs for you."
Using salespeople they call employers and try and get them to pay hundreds of dollars for a job posting
We bring all of the jobs we find into our database.
The job site only posts jobs in its site that companies pay to post.
We filter all the jobs and show you what we find that matches your interests.
They only bring in the jobs to their database that employers pay to post on their site.
We keep a low profile (we do not advertise) and only allow subscribers on our site so there are fewer applications for the jobs we find.
The job site allows any job seekers with an Internet connection, free access. It aggressively advertises the job site to bring as many job seekers as they can to each job, so employers are flooded with applications and will pay to post again.
Unlike other sites, EmploymentCrossing works for you and does not charge employers to post jobs and actually goes out and researches jobs for you. The jobs you see are the jobs we find for you and not the ones employers are paying us to post.
