Layoffs Disappointing for Employees, Patients at Cooper Green

Tough days ahead for Cooper Green outgoing employees. Just when the New Year is around the corner, many workers at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital have been asked to go home and December 31st is going to be their last day at work. This is because the hospital is in a transition mode to becoming an urgent and primary care center. As per Maralyn Mosley, an Advisory board member, this is going to be tough on the employees who have been laid off and the patients too until things stabilize.
