Several layoffs at the ABC cast a dark shadow over its employees’ holidays. Dan Metcalf, the web journalist and online film critic, was the executive producer of the KTVX/ABC 4 website and got blindsides as he was canned unexpectedly in this festive season. He was just one among the several others who were summoned into the office just to be informed that their job positions have been eliminated. Metcalf points out that some of the employees were already worried, foreseen this situation, ever since the Nexstar purchased the station a couple of months back.
